Liverpool University Carnatic Halls of Residence

Set in beautiful private parkland the Carnatic site is ideally situated. It is only a ten- minute walk from the soccer playing fields and a fifteen-minute drive from Liverpool City Centre.

The accommodation comprises of fully carpeted single bedrooms each with a washbasin. Showers, baths, toilets and kitchens are provided for each corridor, which accommodates 20 rooms. All guests take their meals at the state-of-the-art Carnatic House restaurant, which can accommodate up to 500 guests.

LIVERPOOL KNOWSLEY INTERNATIONAL SOCCER FESTIVAL, hosted in the grand English City of Liverpool, is a spectacular celebration of youth and soccer as approximately 100 teams from 10 nations challenge each other for many first place trophies. Truly a World Cup of Youth Soccer!

The Experience

Hosted by Liverpool Knowsley Council and supported by Adidas and many other top sponsors, the Liverpool Knowsley Youth Soccer Festival offers a vast array of activities and attractions to compliment the high standard of soccer. Thousands of spectators surround the playing fields each day, creating a non-stop soccer feast of fun and excitement.

International Bonds

The Liverpool Knowsley Youth Soccer Festival brings together young people from all over the world. They socialize and play soccer in a safe and fun environment, and although only a few teams go home with first place trophies, every participant goes home with incredible memories and international email addresses of the new friendships they have made.

Accomodations

Teams and parents (fans) stay in university dorms' and hotels in and around the city of Liverpool, and in close proximity to the playing fields.

Meals

Breakfast and dinner are included in your meal package. Meals are served at the accommodations and are an excellent preparation of English traditional fare combined with the basic food groups to readily satisfy the appetites of hungry teenage soccer players from around the world.

Tournament Site

The 2006 Festival will be held on the top quality fields of the Liverpool University.

Tours around professional grounds & museums

Elite Soccer tours can also arrange for your team and guests to go and visit a number of grounds around the North West. This trip will often involve a look around the training ground, the ground and maybe the football museum.

The training ground

Elite Soccer tours can sometimes arrange for tours to watch player's train and sometimes, even meet your hero's. If you are lucky you may even get to meet a player and have the chance to take photographs and get items signed. This experience can be beneficial for both players and coaches as you get to see how the best players and coaches go about their every day work.

Your own team training session

During your stay, you will also receive a number of training sessions from guest coaches who are either F.A Qualified or currently working with professional teams. Coaches are on hand to teach you new skills and drills, whilst educating coaches on how English players prepare clubs for that big game on tour. Coaching sessions, normally last for around 2 hours and can be based at either an indoor or outdoor facility, depending on the time of year.

Visit & tour around a professional ground

Whilst you are in the North West, we also arrange a tour around one of the big Premiership or Championship clubs. This tour will give you the chance to see the stadium and get the chance to walk on the same pitch that have seen some of the worlds finest players play on. You will get to see the changing rooms and gain a feel for where the top players prepare for the game. Finally, you will get to see where all the trophies are kept and learn about the history of the club.

City Tours

Once you have finished your hectic training session, completed that tour and competed in that match, you will then be given the chance to enjoy a relaxing tour around two of the finest cities that the North West of England has to offer. Enjoy a trip through the shopping centres, Visit the museums and learn about the history at Liverpool's Albert-dock. If you don't fancy the shops, why not try a tour on the famous Mersey Ferry and learn about the history of the docks. You can also enjoy the vast amounts of restaurants and bars that the city has to offer and with nightlife operating 7 days a week, parents and coaches can enjoy a night out when ever they wish.

During your stay you may be luck enough to watch a 'Professional' match depending on fixtures and locations of matches at the time. Elite Soccer tours can arrange tickets and even the chance to meet a player after the match. Players are normally able to offer your team the chance to sign autographs and take photographs that you can keep forever.
